INFORMATION

  1. Carpooling into the state park is recommended as they charge per car to get in
  2. To find the campsite and courts: use either Apple maps or Google maps and type in ‘SandPit Campground’. This will take you directly to where you need to go! Parking will be available for those not camping on the side of the road
  3. The courts are set up a bit differently than previous years and will be on the opposite side of the road (but the same area) – SEE MAP BELOW
  4. Friday afternoon will be the 4v4 Coed Tournament (an email has been sent to team captains to those who are playing in that tournament) – this 4v4 portion is only Friday for those who will be down there already or want to come early to participate
  5. Saturday (all day) will be 2v2 pool play and Sunday (until mid afternoon) will be a single elimination tournament – all teams advance to Sunday

IMPORTANT ITEMS TO BRING

  2. Shade (umbrellas or canopy are recommended)
  3. Sand Socks are highly recommended – we will be selling them at Sand Hollow for $22 if you would like to purchase a pair (Venmo or Cash)
  4. Water, Water, Water!!! Make sure to have enough.
  5. Sunscreen
  6. Sunglasses
  7. Volleyballs (we will provide 2 balls per court but if you wish you bring more, that would be great)
  8. Luau Costume
  9. BYOB and Food – do not bring in glass!

SATURDAY NIGHT LUAU PARTY

Saturday night will be the luau themed party (we will have leis for all that attend). It will be very casual and start closer to when pool play concludes on Saturday so for the people who aren’t camping can stay and hang out instead of going back to AirBnbs (there are also public showers nearby). There will be a grill if you are wanting to cook at the party as well.

FOR CAMPERS

  1. To find the exact location of our campsite, use the map above or use ‘Sandpit Campground’ in Google/Apple Maps
  2. If you leave the state park, reminder that the gate closes at 10pm

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR CAMPING NOW CLOSED

If you are wanting to still camp but did not register online, you will have to pay at the gate upon arrival.

If you pre-paid and booked online:

  • Upon arrival, you will give the state park employee your name as they have a list of all campers
  • They will give you a pass to put in your vehicle that specifies which campsite your reservation is under
  • They have an up to date list and so if you did not pre-book camping online, you will have to pay at the gate and select a campsite (Group Site A or B – party sites // Group Site C or D – quiet site) in the SandPit Campground
  • One person will register & pay per vehicle that will be entering the campground
  • It’s best to carpool as much as you can as you are charged per vehicle
  • If you have more than one vehicle staying at the campsite, you will need to register that vehicle under a different email
  • There are 2, 3, or 4 night options depending what you choose (depending on how many nights you stay will allow what group sites are available)
  • Please fill out all form fields when reserving so we know what type of camping your group is doing, how many will be with you, what group site you want (A, B, C or D)
  • If you are looking to have your very own private site (one of the numbered sites on the image below), please contact Cory at 801-631-4160 to reserve (first come first serve)
  • No refunds starting April 20 (before April 20, refunds requested back to the profile with have a $5 fee, refunds requested back to the credit card will have a $10 fee)
